Doors and windows warning as firefighters tackle huge blaze

Families living downwind of a massive fire in Dublin have been asked to keep their doors and windows closed.

Firefighters shared an image of a blaze that has sent thick smoke billowing into the air while the orange flames light up the Irish skyline.

It comes as crews descended on an industrial area in Kylemore Road.

A Dublin Fire Brigade spokesman said: “Traffic restrictions in place on Kylemore Road at the junction of Kylemore Park North as we deal with a fire in an industrial unit.

“Residents close to, and downwind of the fire should close their windows to prevent smoke affecting them”
