Young woman, 21, killed in horror crash with Range Rover in Cornwall

A 21-YEAR-old woman has died following a tragic crash with a Range Rover in Cornwall.

Police were rushed to the smash on the B3266 near Washaway, Bodmin, at around 7.30pm on Sunday.

The woman, from Wadebridge, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Range Rover was left unharmed.

Devon and Cornwall Police said in a statement: "Police were contacted at around 7:30pm on Sunday 6 March following reports of a collision involving a Black Range Rover and a Red Seat on the B3266 near Washaway, Bodmin.

"As a result of the collision, the 21-year-old female driver of the Seat from the Wadebridge area was pronounced deceased at the scene."

The road was shut for 11 hours on Sunday as cops investigated the crash.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward and have urged anyone who may have dashcam footage of the crash to come forward.
