Woman, 38, charged with attempted murder of child found hurt on Christmas Eve

A WOMAN has been charged with the attempted murder of a child who was found hurt on Christmas Eve.

Cops say Lisa Shackleton, 38, of Keighley, West Yorkshire, was arrested on Friday.

A child was found injured at an address in the town and was taken to hospital.

They sustained serious injuries but are now believed to be in a stable condition.

Ms Shackleton will appear before Bradford Magistrates' Court later today.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "The investigation remains ongoing with Bradford District Police."
