Urgent hunt for 'rapist' after woman in her 30s was attacked in a Middlesborough park | The Sun

COPS are urgently hunting for a man after a woman was allegedly raped in a park.

The horror was said to have unfolded around 4.30am yesterday in Middlesborough's Cannon Park.

The woman in her 30s was said to have been attacked by a black man who she claimed spoke a foreign language and was wearing a blue tracksuit.

Cleveland Police are how urgently trying to find the alleged rapist.

The force said: "Police are investigating a report of rape on a woman in her thirties which took place in the early hours of Saturday September 30.

"The incident is reported to have taken place at around 4:30am at Cannon Park in Middlesbrough.

"The woman is currently being supported by specially trained police officers and enquiries continue to trace a male suspect who is described as a black male who spoke in a foreign language and was wearing a blue tracksuit.

"Detectives investigating the incident would appeal to any witnesses or anyone with information who may have been in the area around the time the incident took place, to contact them on 101 quoting incident number 195101.
