Two stabbed in horror scene outside train station in broad daylight

    Two people have been stabbed outside a London Underground station causing widespread rail disruptions.

    Ambulance workers arrived at Harlesden station to the scene of a pair of injured men who they took to a major trauma centre 'as a priority'.

    MyLondon reports that as emergency services respond to the incident, a stretch of the Bakerloo line is down as is the London Overground between Watford Junction and Euston.

    Disruption is expected until 4pm, National Rail warns passengers.

    London Ambulance Service was called at 12.40pm to Windrush Road and Mordaunt Road near Harlesden station following reports of a stabbing.

    When they arrived they found one injured man, and a second man two minutes later. The level of their injuries is unknown.

    According to Transport for London, police are responding to the incident and an eyewitness reported seeing lots of police and the ambulance service, and the air ambulance also reportedly landed at the scene.

    London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 12.40pm today (17 January) to reports of a stabbing in Windrush Road, Harlesden.

    “We sent an ambulance crew and two paramedics in fast response cars. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.

    “We treated a patient and took him, by road, to a major trauma centre as a priority.

    “A few minutes later (12.42pm) we were called to second injured person in nearby Morduant Road.

    “We sent an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer.

    “We treated a patient at the scene and also took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
