Two-month-old Elsy Ardolino missing from Pueblo West, CBI says

An Amber Alert has been issued for an infant taken from Pueblo West.

The 2-month-old girl, Elsy Ardolino, was last seen at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 1000 block of West Gallinas Drive, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The child is with her parents, Ashley Ardolino and Luis Novelo-Rojas, but authorities believe she “is in danger.” According to a tweet from the Pueblo Police Department, Elsy had been staying with a relative because the mother made troubling statements and asked the relative to take the baby.

The parents were visiting her from Denver on Tuesday and got into an argument with the relative before driving off with the baby.

The trio may be traveling in a green GMC Yukon XL with Colorado plates.

Ashley Ardolino is described as a 39-year-old white female with brown hair and brown eyes who stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. Novelo-Rojas is described as a Hispanic man, 35, with black hair and brown eyes who stands 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 160 pounds.

Anyone who sees them or the vehicle should call 9-1-1.
