Spooky Nook Sports Center incident – '12 people injured’ after ‘shooter rumors spark stampede’ in Lancaster

A dozen people were reportedly injured in a "stampede" in Pennsylvania on Sunday.

The "incident" happened at Spooky Nook Sports Center in Lancaster County.

Emergency units, including numerous firefighters and at least a dozen medics, were called to the sports complex, officials said.

Police said there is no evidence of a shooter, and no reported gunshot victims, but it's reported that's what sparked a "stampede."

    The sports center's Facebook page posted the following: "A note from Spooky Nook: There was an incident at our facility today.

    "While the investigation is still ongoing, preliminary reports indicate the following: There were no shots fired.

    "There were two injured individuals, but currently unsure if these were related to the incident or not."

    "Update from the police investigation: – no evidence of a gun being fired in the building. – no injuries as a result of a gun shot."

    A preliminary report from Spooky Nook Sports said no shots had been fired and two people were injured.

    According to the report, an investigation was ongoing.

    The public has been urged to avoid the area.

    WHAT TIME WERE EMERGENCY UNITS CALLED TO THE SCENE?

    Emergency units, including numerous firefighters and at least a dozen medics, were called to the sports complex in East Hempfield Township at 2.26pm, the supervisor said.

    At least two people were injured after they were trampled by others, according to a local news report.

    The East Hempfield Emergency Department said those injured suffered "non-life threatening" injuries.

    Lancaster County dispatch revealed there were chaotic scenes at the location.

    An argument on court is thought to have led to someone pulling a gun, according to unconfirmed reports.

    Multiple people have been injured, according to a supervisor with Lancaster County-Wide Communications.

    Up to 10 people have been injured in a mass stampede after a suspected shooting at the Spooky Nook Sports Center.

    All injuries so far being reported are for trampled patients, according to unconfirmed reports.

    Two patient triage areas are being set up.

    Several cops and medical vehicles are at the scene.
