Russia ‘plants explosives’ on NUCLEAR POWER PLANT in Putin’s most dangerous move

Russia has planted explosives around Europe’s largest nuclear power station, according to intelligence from Ukraine.

President Volodmyr Zelensky issued a video statement on Tuesday night, claiming Russian military “has placed objects resembling explosives on the roof of several power units of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant”. He said “it is the responsibility of everyone in the world to stop” Putin’s Russia from blowing up the plant.

Ukraine’s leader said he had, on Tuesday, held talks with the head of NATO, France’s President Emmanual Macron and the President of Sweden about the latest concerning developments. He said radiation from the plant was a threat to the world – and that vowed that the world “is ready to respond”.

It comes after Zelensky warned European leaders that Putin’s regime were “technically ready” to blow up the nuclear plant. He told Spain’s prime minister Pedro Sánchez in Kyiv that the facility was facing a “serious threat” that could be catastrophic for the world.

Now, in a video announcement shared on Twitter, Zelesnky said: “Now we have information from our intelligence that the Russian military has placed objects resembling explosives on the roof of several power units of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

“Perhaps to simulate an attack on the plant. Perhaps they have some other scenario. But in any case, the world sees – can’t but see – that the only source of danger to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is Russia and no one else.

“Unfortunately, there was no timely and large-scale response to the terrorist attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant. And this may incite the Kremlin to commit new evil.

“It is the responsibility of everyone in the world to stop it, no one can stand aside, as radiation affects everyone.”
