Princess Eugenie ‘broke ranks’ by joining Prince Harry for Super Bowl Event

Princess Eugenie is said to have allegedly "broke ranks" of the Royal Family by joining Prince Harry for a Super Bowl-based event.

It was quite the controversial period when this time last year Eugenie went against the grain of "consistent and firm" expectations, according to an expert.

Eugenie was instead spotted at last year's Super Bowl Event brushing shoulders with the royals who, at the time, had made a very clear departure from the family and had fanned the flame with an Oprah Winfrey interview.

Eugenie, who was spotted with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was seen to be "endorsing" their new life outside the Royal Family and "breaking ranks" in doing so, Express reported.

Expert Duncan Larcombe said to OK! at the time wrote: "The royals have stayed quite consistent and firm when it comes to Harry and Meghan, as we've seen.

"Eugenie is breaking ranks from the rest of the royals by being seen so publicly to endorse Harry and Meghan in their new life. It endorses what they said about the royals.

"No other member of the family would be seen dead anywhere near Harry and Meghan.

"There are those that think that Eugenie is Harry's only hope of him being brought back in should things not work out in paradise, so at least he is talking to someone in the Royal Family."

Eugenie and Harry have been firm friends for some time, as the latter revealed in his bombshell autobiography released earlier this year.

The Duke claimed in his book that Eugenie was the first member of the Firm to welcome Meghan Markle into the family.

Experts at the time of the Super Bowl appearance also noted that Eugenie provided the pair "the only link" Harry had with his family back in the UK.
