Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘finding parenting Lilibet easier’, expert claims

A royal commentator has claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are settling in well to their new life in the US as a family of four, after the birth of their daughter Lilibet in June.

Since stepping back from royal duties and moving to California, speculation has been rife around how well Meghan and Harry are transitioning into their new non-royal lifestyles.

Experts scrutinised a recent trip to New York, with some suggesting the trip was evidence of the couple attempting to establish a "rival royal family", while others claimed it was not well supported by American fans.

Now, a Us Weekly correspondent Christina Garibaldi has reflected on the couple’s family life, claiming that Harry is thriving in his role as a dad.

“A source tells us that the couple are just so in awe of their kids and feel blessed beyond words by what they have in their lives right now,” she suggested on the site's YouTube channel.

“Harry loves being a girl dad, with a source telling us that Harry adores Lili and loves reading her bedtime stories and rocking her to sleep. He has a real magic touch.

“As far as Archie, we hear that he is really coming into his own, and has such a loveable and sweet nature.

“It’s just paradise for Harry and he’s the most caring dad you could ever meet."

And despite Lilibet only being four months old, Christina claimed that the Sussexes are finding parenthood easier the second time round.

“We hear that it has been easier for them with Lili in many ways, even though it’s twice the work technically, because they’ve been able to use a lot of the techniques they learned with Archie,” she continued.

“Yes, they do have nannies on call when things get a bit hectic with their work schedules, but a source tells us that they are extremely hands on, and try to keep hired help to a minimum for the most part.”

This comes as royal fans have been speculating whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return to the UK for Lilibet’s christening.

Despite the fact that a public ceremony took place for Archie in Windsor in July 2019, commentators have suggested that the now ex-royals should have a small ceremony in the US for Lilibet.
