New weather map shows exact date UK will be battered by England-sized snow bomb
New weather maps reveal the exact date and time that a huge snow bomb the size of England will hit the UK.
Forecasts show that the snow is expected to arrive this week, with a snow bomb the width of England moving across the UK.
There could be snow levels of up to 6cm an hour and a wave of rain with up to 5mm of rain an hour. The snow bomb covers the UK from Cardiff to London and up to Manchester – as well as along the west coast.
According to a weather map on WX Charts seen by Express.co.uk, the snow bomb will batter England next Thursday, November 30 at around 9am.
The Met Office has said there will be overnight frosts through the week, and sleet on higher ground.

Temperatures are forecast to be between 1C and 6C on Tuesday and Wednesday, and between -2C and 5C on Thursday.
Met Office Deputy Chief Meteorologist, Dan Harris, said: “At present, the most likely outcome beyond mid-week is that rain from the west slowly moves east, with snow possible over higher ground, and a continued risk of showers over eastern parts.
“However, there is a chance that a more active weather system arrives from the southwest, which would bring more widespread rain, stronger winds, and the potential for more significant snowfall should the air over the UK becme sufficiently cold ahead of it.”

He added: “Either way, a continuation of colder than average conditions seems most likely, more details will become clear over the coming days.”
The forecast comes after this weekend saw the UK hit with an Arctic blast from Scandinavia. Some areas have seen -2C and frosty conditions.
There is also hope for White Christmas, with betting site Coral giving there a 67 percent chance for snow over the festive period.
