Mum ‘drops crying 3-year-old daughter to death after dangling her over balcony’

A mum has been accused of murder after reportedly dangling her three-year-old daughter over a balcony as punishment for crying before dropping her.
Anna Ruzankina, allegedly dropped her child Anastasia 60ft to her death in the Russian city of Saratov.
The tragic tot was heard pleading in a video: 'Mama, I am scared," before adding: "I am scared, scared, scared….I am scared" before she fell to her death.
Horrific footage catches the final moments of her fall before she hits the ground.
Ruzankina, 23, is then seen in a CCTV lift video having retrieved the dead body and holding her in the lift as she took her back up the family's sixth floor flat, Life News reports.
The video shows her shaking the lifeless child as if trying to revive her.
Reports said the mother had been holding the young girl over the balcony edge by her T-shirt. The shirt tore, and the child fell.
A male passerby – seen on the distressing video -said he heard "a child's loud screams from an upper floor".
He added: "And suddenly I heard a dull sound of falling. The screams stopped.

"When I turned around, I saw a little girl covered in blood lying on the asphalt.
"I ran to call the emergency services. I was so shocked."
Neighbours said the mother had claimed her daughter had climbed over the balcony herself.
She was heard saying: "I told her she would fall."
Ruzankina has been detained on suspicion of murdering a minor in a helpless state, and faces up to 21 years in jail if convicted.
The mum "dropped her young daughter, both in 2018, from the balcony," according to the Russian Investigative Committee, the country's version of the FBI.
