This is the hilarious moment a young motorist is branded a ‘silly p***k’ by his fuming mother after crashing his car into her caravan outside the family home – ruining the moment she met his girlfriend for the first time.
Adam Fox, 23, was collecting his Vauxhall Corsa from his parents’ house in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire, after they had changed the vehicle’s battery for him.
The alarm engineer decided to turn the ignition of his blue car – while standing in the driver’s door – to check it was all in working order, without realising it was still in gear.
In a video recorded by a doorbell camera, and later shared on TikTok, the Corsa can be seen lurching forward and hitting his sister’s car, while the driver’s door scrapes along the side of his mother’s caravan.
Adam’s girlfriend, who had met his parents moments earlier, can be seen wincing as she covers her face with her hands in disbelief.

In the short clip, which has received more than 300,000 views, his mother is initially watching from the front door of the house as the incident unfolds.
As the car bashes into the two nearby vehicles, she runs out and screams: ‘Adam, you f*****g k***head!’ before he shouts back: ‘Who left it in gear?!’
His father then owns up to the rookie error, while Alana walks around the vehicles to assess the damage.
‘Look at my f*****g caravan, you f*****g a***hole,’ she fumes, before warning that his sister will go ‘f*****g mental’ when she gets home and sees the state of her bumper.
Adam believes the crash caused around ‘£200 worth of damage’.
Speaking today, he said: ‘As the car hasn’t been in use for a year, my dad left the car in gear with the handbrake off. Being on autopilot, I started the car how I normally do.

‘For it then to take off with me hanging out the car into my sister’s car which was in front, also causing damage to the family caravan.
‘The Corsa had a few scratches which I managed to rub out. My sister’s car had a cracked bumper and the caravan has a nice bit of blue along the side of it.’
He added: ‘I’d say about £200 worth of damage. It was the first time my mum and girlfriend met. It was going well before the video started.
‘Once it happened my girlfriend was speechless and didn’t know what to say.’
The video has been liked over 20,000 times and viewed over 300,000 times after it went viral on TikTok.
Adam added: ‘I uploaded it around 11 pm on Sunday, woke up Monday with around 500 views which is around my follower count.
‘Checked an hour later and it was 5k, every 5 minutes it would have gone up by 10k. So was not expecting it to go viral until that point.’
