Missing Indigenous Person alert issued for man in Commerce City

Commerce City police are searching for a missing Indigenous man who was last seen just north of Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge Thursday afternoon.

Deandre Yazzie, 29, was last seen about 1 p.m. in the area of East 96th Avenue and Peoria Street. The Missing Indigenous Person Alert was sent out at 11:40 p.m. Thursday night.

He is described as a six-foot, 175-pound man with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black windbreaker, black pants and orange and white Nike shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Commerce City Police Department or 911.
