Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's reunion with Royals was 'frosty' with 'lots of tension', Piers Morgan claims

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry's reunion with the royals was "frosty" with "lots of tension" claims Piers Morgan.

The TalkTV host, 57, claims that royal insiders told him the Duke and Duchess of Sussex "disappeared" behind the scenes of yesterday's Trooping the Colour.

While the rest of the royal family mingled and milled about on the grounds of Buckingham Palace, Meg and Harry were nowhere to be seen, Piers claims.

Instead, the Sussexes just "disappeared" following the first day of celebrations, insiders told him.

Piers insisted that the glue binding the Californian couple with the rest of the royals is the Queen herself – who won't be present at St Paul's today.

Morgan claimed: "The rest of the family went into the garden and were milling around and they just disappeared.

"So there is already a lot of tension there and the only glue it seems in this whole tension is The Queen and she’s not going to be there."

And he said that the Queen pulling out of the Service of Thanksgiving on Friday is "not good news" for the royals.

He added: "Whichever way we try to dress this up, for the queen to miss the big thanksgiving service, she's a big churchgoer, big believer, and for her not to be there is a big deal."

But this wasn't the TalkTV host's only jibe at Meghan yesterday.

The pair have a longstanding feud – brought to the forefront when Meghan allegedly got Piers kicked off of Good Morning Britain following the coverage of her interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Yesterday, he also mocked Meghan with a hilarious photo of Prince Louis, and a cheeky caption for good measure.

Taking to Twitter, he fanned the flames of his bitter feud with the Duchess of Sussex as he joked that an agonized-looking Louis could have been reacting to his aunt Meghan.

Louis, four, stole the show after pulling some hilarious faces and blocking his ears as he stood on the balcony at Thursday's Trooping the Colour for The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

But chucking in two laughing emojis, Piers posted: "Is this when Aunty Meghan arrived?"

The adorable youngster was in fact reacting to the noise of the huge 70-plane strong flypast which streaked over Buckingham Palace sending the crowd wild.

But the tweet left The Sun columnist's followers in stitches and it raked in over 14,000 likes.

In response to the cheeky jibe, one joker quipped: "The whole of the UK more like!"

While another noted: "He's not daft!!"

A third chimed: "Hahahahahahaha very good Piers."

But not everyone took so kindly to his dig, with one Meghan supporter chiming: "Lives rent-free in your head though."

Meghan and Harry were snapped for the first time yesterday behind the balcony as they cheekily put their fingers to their lips and shushed the royal kids.

They were seen peering out from a window at the Major General's Office as the military spectacular took place below.
