An alleged stalker shot a co-worker's husband and tried to kidnap her from her own home by dragging her away.

Justin Arthur-Ray Davis is accused of harassing the unnamed woman for a month after he resigned from their place of work.

Davis, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, allegedly chased the woman and her husband with a shotgun.

The victim had filed a protective order against him after he sat outside her house and left candy and food on the doorstep.

Then the situation escalated when she was being escorted to her car by her partner as she went to work last week.

The pair spotted Davis and he reportedly left his truck and chased after them with the gun in hand and they ran into their apartment.

“Davis shot through the door hitting the husband in the hand,” authorities said.

“Davis [then] went into the apartment and grabbed the victim dragging her down the stairs, assaulting her along the way.”

Neighbours say they saw Davis 'choke and punch the victim' and drag her towards his truck.

“The husband then came back downstairs to save her and Davis [pointed] the shotgun at him saying he will kill him if she doesn’t get in the truck,” said Tulsa Police Department.

The suspect allegedly fired two shots into the air and took off in his vehicle when police arrived at the scene.
