A 'major incident' at Everton's new football stadium saw workers told to leave the site at Bramley Moore Dock.
Emergency services were called to the stadium site at around 12.30pm today (August 14) after reports of a serious incident, with road and air ambulances arriving on the scene, the ECHO reported.
North West Ambulance Service has confirmed a patient was taken to hospital from the scene this afternoon. The police are also in attendance, with scientific support vehicles seen at the entrance to the site.

Workers told the Liverpool ECHO that they were asked to leave the construction site but couldn't share further details on exactly why.
Construction started on Everton's new stadium in the city's north docks in the summer of 2021 ahead of a move away from Goodison Park.
Laing O'Rourke was appointed as the main contractors on the 52,888 seater project. The compny and Merseyside Police have been contacted for comment.
Once completed, Everton's new stadium will include a range of features including a large fan plaza and four distinct stands including a steep home end with a 13,000 capacity.

It is hoped that this stand will be able to mimic Goodison Park's famous "intensity and intimacy", with fans close to the pitch.
The north and south stands could also have rail seating in another step towards the introduction of safe-standing.
Everton hope that their new home will bring a £1billion boost to the city's economy while also creating 15,000 new jobs and attracting 1.4million annual visitors.
