Hungry sharks are now mistaking feet for fish causing chaos in tourist hot spot

Tourists are being warned about swimming in waters notorious for shark attacks because the dopey sea beasts are mistaken human feet for fish.

Long Island, New York, has become a sand tiger shark hotspot, with a nursery spotted just off the coast.

And despite the obvious dangers of swimming with sharks, experts have said that they aren't actually after humans – they want fish.
