A teacher was knocked out after a metal chair, launched at her head by a student, connected with powerful velocity.
During an intense argument at Southwestern Classical Academy in Flint, Michigan, on September 28, two teens began hurling obscene insults at one another, with one branding the other a "big a** f***".
When the teacher attempted to defuse the situation a student picked up a chair and chucked it at full force.

Shocking footage shows the teacher collapse to the floor, remaining completely immobile for several seconds. However, despite the harrowing situation, the kids didn't seem to care.
Showcasing a lack of compassion, the two rivals engaged in a physical altercation on top of their teacher's unconscious body.
After coming back around, the teacher was taken to hospital for treatment. And luckily, while we do not know the extent of the injuries, the teacher was discharged and is expected to return to her position as early as next week.
In a letter, the school's Superintendent informed the parents that an altercation had occurred resulting in a member of staff being injured.
As it stands it is unclear whether the student will face any legal consequences, or be suspended or expelled.
Flint Community School reassured parents on their Facebook page that they "take these matters seriously" and will strive to "do all we can to create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment".
The letter revealed that an investigation into the assault has been launched, but did not elaborate in any further detail.
