Prince Harry was in danger of becoming into a "seedy old roué" before he beginning a relationship with Meghan Markle, according to royal expert Valentine Low.

In Valentine Low's new book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, Valentine Low claims that Harry was "quite a wild lad" during his younger days.

In the publication, Low also recounts details of the Prince playing air guitar while naked with a pool cue at the Encore at Wynn Las Vegas hotel in August 2012.

Despite the shocking details, the book says Harry has transformed and traded in the wild life for a family with Meghan and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Mr Low said: "The younger prince was a dashing figure, flying an Apache helicopter, and was heavily committed in the area of children’s health, with charities like WellChild.

"But he also used to be quite a wild lad.

"When Harry was young, it was easy to forgive him, his transgressions. But at what point does a wild lad become a seedy old roué?

"Eventually, of course, the problem would resolve itself. The wild lad died the day Harry met Meghan Markle."

The news of Harry's transformation into a doting father and husband comes after his and Meghan's omission from the 'Fab Four' photo of the Royals that people said was "lacking" something.

The photo of King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla alongside the new Prince of Wales and Princess of Wales was posted on Charles' and Camilla's official Instagram account.

While there were compliments on the image, a consistent theme of the comments surrounded about Harry and Meghan and their omission from the photo.

Royal commentator Rachel Bowie said: “I think that it was very noticeable how, it's like a lack of star power, it's just, it's simplified.”
