Harry and Meghan pal calls Netflix doc ‘calm and collected’ with ‘no trashing’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix series is "calm and collected" with "no trashing", an expert said.
Royal commentator and author Omid Scobie said the first three episodes of Harry & Meghan, released today (December 8), provide "great commentary".
Scobie tweeted: "Eps 1-3? No 'trashing', no bombshells, just their experiences (many already well documented) in their words. All pretty calm and collected.

"Great commentary about race and colonialism, and the section connecting Brexit to the couple’s story would have made a great doc in itself."
The first three episodes of the docuseries saw Meghan and Harry tell their love story in their own words and recall moments from Harry's childhood and Meghan's introduction into the Royal Family.
The pair made headlines after announcing they met on Instagram, contrary to the previous claim they had been set up on a blind date when they first crossed paths in 2016.
"I was scrolling through my feed and one of my friends and someone who was a friend had this video of the two of them, like a Snapchat," Harry recalled.
"I was like 'who is that?'"
Meanwhile, Meghan was told "Prince Haz" wanted to meet her – and reportedly didn't know who he was.

The pair also made a series of allegations that the Royal Family hadn't expected their relationship to last.
"I remember my family first meeting her and being incredibly impressed," Harry recalled of the early days of their relationship.
"But the fact that I was dating an American actress was probably what clouded their judgment more than anything else in the beginning.
'"Oh, she's an American actress, this won't last,'" he mocked.
The first three episodes are the latest release in a nearly two-year spate of tell-all interviews and books following Megxit – the moment the pair stepped down from royal duties.
They have accused the Royal Family of racism on numerous occasions, claiming an unnamed royal made a racist remark about Archie's skin colour before he was born, and that the institution failed to help a suicidal Meghan.
The palace maintained, in a carefully worded statement, that "recollections may vary" with regards to those specific incidents.
There has also always been a sense of rivalry between Meghan and Prince William's wife – Catherine, Princess of Wales.
Kate was publicly singled out by Meghan in her bombshell Oprah interview for allegedly making her cry in the run-up to the wedding.
More recently, Meghan’s interview with The Cut hit the headlines as the former actress said it takes “a lot of effort” to forgive and hinted that she can “say anything”.
Meghan said that “just by existing” she and Harry were “upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy” before they stepped down as working royals.
