Bus carrying country singer Josh Turner’s crew crashes in California leaving one dead and seven injured after his concerts – The Sun

A TOUR bus carrying the road crew of country singer Josh Turner crashed last night – killing one and injuring seven others, police said.

Turner and his band were not in the vehicle which launched off an 80ft cliff ejecting three passengers in San Luis Obispo County, California, according to reports.

One of the people thrown from the bus was killed, it has been reported.

Two of the seven passengers wounded are said to have sustained major injuries.

Pictures from the scene show emergency workers treating victims at the scene last night.

The bus was travelling eastbound on Highway 46 when it crashed in Shandon in the west of the state.

Drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as a cause of the crash – although an eye witness said they did not see brake lights as the vehicle hurtled off the road, KGET reports.

Turner and his band performed last night at the Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, according to media reports.

The identity of the person killed and those who were injured has not been released.
