Aurora police release description of vehicle in fatal hit-and-run crash

Aurora investigators of a fatal hit-and-run crash released a description of a suspect vehicle Wednesday.

The incident happened at about 6 p.m. Sunday in the 19000 block of East Montview Boulevard, according to police. Officers found a 28-year-old man lying in the street with severe injuries. He was taken to a local hospital where he died. The victim, a pedestrian, was hit by an eastbound vehicle on Montivew and the driver did not stop.

Investigators describe the suspect vehicle as a black 2005 to 2010 Dodge Charger or Dodge Magnum. The vehicle should have damage to the driver’s side front fender and driver-side mirror, police said.
