A 2-month-old boy was found dead inside a Manhattan homeless shelter hotel over the weekend, according to authorities and police sources.

The infant’s mom called the police when she found him not breathing at the Candlewood Suites hotel on West 39th Street near Ninth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen around noon Sunday, cops said.

The infant was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The baby’s death appeared to be the result of sudden infant death syndrome, cops said.

He showed no signs of abuse or neglect, according to the sources.

The city medical examiner’s office will officially determine his cause of death.
