11-year-old girl missing in Westminster

Westminster police say that Lilly Ingalsbe, 11, is missing.

Police first got the call at 5:26 p.m. Tuesday from the mother of Ingalsbe. She reported her daughter left their house at 107th and Newcombe Street at about 3:30 p.m. to go to Country Side Park, a short walk away.

Ingalsbe has not been seen since she left the house, officials said. She was wearing a red button-up fleece, blue jeans with multi-color paint splatters, all black glasses and an orange backpack.

Ingalsbe is 5-foot-2 and weighs 111 pounds. She has auburn hair.

Police ask that you call 303-658-4360 if you see Ingalsbe.

Police say that on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, officers searched the neighborhood and requested any available video, and the areas’ lakes and parks were searched. They also used drones and FLIR thermal cameras to check the community and left fliers at all open businesses.

The residential neighborhood in Westminster is just north of Standley Lake, with the home being down the street from Jessica Ridgeway Memorial Park.

A Code Red notification was sent out to the area, asking residents to look for Lilly.

Authorities say that Lilly does not have a cell phone, but she has a tablet that is turned off.

Officers began a door-to-door search of the neighborhood Wednesday morning.

There has not been an Amber Alert issued despite WPD working with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. The current search does not meet the specific criteria for an Amber Alert.
