The Chair of the Committees on Standards and Privileges Chris Bryant put Boris Johnson on the spot after he confronted the Prime Minister with conflicting rules on ministers and backbenchers declaring their interests. Mr Bryant pointed out MPs have a rolling register that clearly lays out the whole of the House of Commons “on a single document” which shows their interests. But Mr Bryant pointed out the Government “tucks all the details for ministers” in 232 separate documents online which he stated was not very “transparent” with Mr Johnson replying if Mr Bryant had a better system then he was interested in seeing it.
