Thailand could soon become one of the first countries to implement blocking technology at the official level.
Omise, the initiating project of OmiseGO and the Ministry of the Digital Industry of the country, signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the framework of cooperation in developing a national system for verifying digital identification and online payments.

The Thai government will use the Omise infrastructure to provide its citizens with a national digital identifier that should reduce fraud on the Internet and protect consumers.
OmiseGO founder Jun Hasegawa commented on cooperation with the authorities on Twitter, focusing on the positive impact of bokchain technology on the lives of Thai citizens, CCN reported.
Last week, Omise also participated in the launch of the Ethereum Community Foundation.
