Now that the world is opening up, it’s a good time to look at opening a new credit card to earn welcome bonus points you can use when you’re ready to travel again. Credit card issuers have been launching loads of increased offers — some record-setting — and there’s now an all-time-high offer on the IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card to consider.
New cardholders can earn a whopping 150,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 on purchases within the first three months of account opening. That beats the previous high offer on the card by 10,000 points, and is well above the old standard 80,000-point offer for the card. There’s an annual fee of $89 (waived the first year), so this is an especially good deal.
The bonus is enough for a short getaway at a luxurious resort, or up to 15 free nights at a low-category IHG hotel. IHG encompasses over a dozen hotel brands — including Holiday Inn, InterContinental, Kimpton, and Hotel Indigo — so you shouldn’t have trouble finding a property where you can use your points no matter where you’re traveling, though some brands are fancier than others.

Here’s what to know about the new IHG® Rewards Club Premier Credit Card offer to help you decide if you should apply.
We’re focused here on the rewards and perks that come with each card. These cards won’t be worth it if you’re paying interest or late fees. When using a credit card, it’s important to pay your balance in full each month, make payments on time, and only spend what you can afford to pay.
