Bret Baier’s Multi-Year Deal Extended At Fox News
Fox News anchor Bret Baier has extended his multi-year deal with the network.
The terms were not disclosed, but Baier will continue as chief political anchor and anchor and editor of Special Report, the network said. He also will continue to co-anchor 2024 election coverage and host The Bret Baier Podcast for Fox News Audio.
Baier has anchored Special Report since January 2009. Along with Martha MacCallum, he served as co-moderator of the first GOP presidential debate last month. The event averaged 12.8 million viewers on Fox News and Fox Business.

Baier served as Fox News’ chief White House correspondent from 2006 to 2009, and as national security correspondent from 2001 to 2006.
