xtingles to Launch World’s First ASMR NFT “Free Like a Butterfly” on September 16

xtingles is set to launch the world’s first-ever Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) NFT art, on September 16, 2021. The ASMR non-fungible token collectible is called “Free Like a Butterfly.” It aims to motivate people to free themselves and help them to find who they truly are.

xtingles Unveils Free Like a Butterfly NFT

xtingles, the revolutionary mobile-focused platform that stores audio-visual Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) art on the blockchain, in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), has announced that its first ASMR NFT named “Free like a Butterfly” will go live on September 16, coinciding with the launch of its dedicated ASMR NFT marketplace.

For the uninitiated, ASMR is simply a tingly sensation that typically starts on the scalp and progresses down the back of the neck and upper part of the human spine. In other words, ASMR is a feeling of well-being often triggered by certain sounds or visuals.

Andrew Fai, Chief Visionary Officer of xtingles, says the “Free Like a Butterfly” NFT is an art piece about “freeing yourself.” It leverages the unique communicative qualities of ASMR to help you find a path to becoming who you truly are and breaking free from constructs.

The xtingles team claims pre-launch listeners of “Free Like a Butterfly” said it made them feel like they were floating weightlessly into the clouds and feeling like everything is possible.

Participating in the NFT Drop

xtingles has chosen the Flow blockchain for its Free Like a Butterfly NFT launch. Collectors interested in getting the innovative art piece can do so with only 29 FUSD, a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued on the Flow network.

Anyone with a credit/debit card will be able to purchase the Free Like a Butterfly NFT, provided they complete their know-your-customer (KYC) procedure. The NFT drop will begin on September 16, 2021, at exactly 11 AM EST, to close on September 21, 2021, at 11 AM EST.

This way, all interested participants will have enough time to complete their KYC on the Moonpay platform (a 10-minute verification process), and buy the FUSD stablecoin required for the NFT purchase.

Explaining the reason behind its decision to accept a stablecoin instead of regular cryptocurrencies, xtingles said:

“Most NFT auctions now involve intense FOMO and expensive gas fees. This model is not sustainable in the long term, as xtingles sees it. Instead, xtingles emphasizes a fun and pleasant experience for all. With xtingles, all collectors get the opportunity to participate in their favorite ASMR NFT drops without worries.”

xtingles says its primary objective is to deliver ASMR to one billion souls globally, with a vision to create a community-first ASMR metaverse.
