Gun shops in the USA are running out of weapons and ammunition ahead of president-elect Joe Biden's inauguration.
Store owners have reported a huge increase in demand with Mr Biden set to be sworn into office on Wednesday.
It comes as the FBI vetted 25,000 National Guard troops amid fears of an "insider attack" at the inauguration. National Guard personnel have been deployed in anticipation of unrest following the shocking rioting at the Capitol earlier in January.
Gun store owner Floyd McMillin says his business in Topeka, Kansas, made a whopping $50,000 (£37,000) in gun sales last Saturday alone, shattering their previous record.
He reckons the surge in demand has come because people do not trust the government and many are worried they will no longer have the opportunity to buy firearms.
He said: "They'll say whatever they say to get elected, but so many people take it like a grain of salt and so they get so worried about that they think they're going to try to take their guns.
"Well, you have to realise that the gun industry itself, it produces billions of dollars in revenue for the United States."

The FBI has received intelligence that armed protests have been planned in all 50 US states in the coming days. A bulletin reads: "They (armed groups) have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur."
The National Park Service (NPS) said it had received "credible threats" of further unrest at the Capitol building in Washington.
On January 6 the Capitol was stormed by angry rioters in an attempt to overturn President Donald Trump's US election defeat. Supporters gathered to demand Congress ignore Mr Biden's victory, but the violent scenes ended with five people dead.
President Trump later became only the second US president to be impeached twice for "incitement of insurrection" after he called on his followers to "fight like hell" to "take back our country".
