Twisted takeaway driver left terrified woman a creepy message demanding sex
A creepy delivery driver has been sacked after he asked a female customer to "help him out sexually" when he delivered her takeaway.
Barely able to believe what had happened, the disgusted woman shared a screenshot of the texts she received from the driver on Facebook and the image went viral.
US-based food delivery company DoorDash got in touch with the customer and told her the driver had been sacked, reports MirrorOnline.
The conversation began with the driver texting the DoorDash customer, saying: "Question for ya," to which the woman replied "Yes?"
Without any preamble, he waded in with: "First, are you single lol," to which the woman responded: "I have a boyfriend.”
But that didn’t seem to make any difference to the dodgy delivery man: "Well look,” he replied. “First off, it's late, wet, rainy and I'm tired. Doordash offered me this delivery when I was 10 miles away, meaning there's not many drivers out.
"So I'll make you a deal. Help me out a little sexually and I'll deliver the food. If not, I'm going to have to cancel.”
At this point the woman made a screenshot of the entire creepy conversation and uploaded it to her Facebook page, saying: "I can’t believe this happened. I feel incredibly unsafe because now this sick individual has both my phone number and my address."
"I called the customer service phone number," she added, |and all they said was ‘He must’ve been tired’ and reassigned my driver.
“I will not be using Doordash Drivers in the future if they’re going to allow this to happen."
In the comments below the shocking screenshot, one woman wrote: "Just to maybe relieve a little stress he doesn’t have your phone number so he won’t be able to bother you… I’m sorry this happened to you though and I hope things work out for you."
Someone else said: "This is exactly why I make my husband get our order when it gets here. Nope."
A third woman added that this sort of creepy behaviour isn’t uncommon, saying: "That is terrifying. I had a similar experience with a delivery driver once. It still scares me when I think about it."
A DoorDash spokesperson, speaking to the Daily Mirror, said: "This inappropriate and unacceptable behaviour is never tolerated on the DoorDash platform.
"The Dasher involved was immediately deactivated earlier this month when the incident occurred, and we have been in touch with the customer and fully refunded the order.
"We sincerely regret that this incident fell short of the experience we strive to provide every day.”
