The city of 11 million went into one of the world’s strictest lockdowns in January 2020, before it started to re-open after 76 days closed off from the world.

The communist state claims there have been 4,636 deaths from Covid in total, the majority in Wuhan.
More than 3.8 million people have died from the virus since records began.
Just 1% in C-19 beds
JUST one per cent of all hospital beds are occupied by Covid patients, the head of the NHS said.
Sir Simon Stevens added hospitals are in a “much better position” than they previously were.
NHS figures show Covid patients fill 993 of 96,000 beds in England.
At the peak of the second wave in January, there were 34,000 Covid patients in hospital, filling one in three beds.
Sir Simon told the NHS Confederation annual conference the service was in a “much better position than we were this time last year” due to jabs.
There were about 4,000 Covid patients in hospital in England back in 2020.
