A suspect is in custody after he drove up to Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland and told officials he had a bomb Friday afternoon.

Military and local security forces shut down the base around 4:45 p.m. to sweep the area and took the man in for questioning, according to Fox 5 DC.

Aerial footage from the scene shows authorities using a bomb disposal robot around a Buick stopped at the main entrance, according to Washington DC’s WUSA 9.

The main gate was closed as 6 p.m. as part of the investigation, according to the report.

The incident is the latest apparent security breach of the military facility that houses Air Force One in recent months.

In March, a 29-year-old man was arrested for repeatedly ramming his pickup truck into an entry gate at the base, WUSA 9 said.

A month earlier, an unarmed intruder managed to breach the facility and enter an aircraft.
