Shocking video shows man yank Asian woman’s hair in unprovoked NYC attack
An unhinged man yanked an Asian woman by the hair in an unprovoked Brooklyn attack, video released by cops Wednesday morning shows.
The 32-year-old victim was on Kings Highway near East 13th Street in Homecrest around 7:45 a.m. March 22 when the assailant approached and pulled her by the hair, dragging her a few feet, the clip shows.
When the suspect let go, he struck a nearby wall or storefront with his hand and then walked away along Kings Highway.
No words were exchanged and the victim was not robbed, cops said.
She refused medical attention at the scene.
The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force has been notified.
The incident came amid a recent surge of crimes against the Asian community in New York City and elsewhere.
