A circus is offering a £1,000 reward for any information that leads to a devastated clown being reunited with his beloved stolen shoes.
Walison Muh, who travels with Planet Circus OMG as Walison the Clown, has recently performed at Cleethorpes and Scunthorpe's Glanford Park in North Lincolnshire.
It was when he performed at the latter location that he realised something was amiss, reports GrimsbyLive.
An unknown offender snuck into his dressing room and stole his clown shoes, which he spent hours designing.
Walison has already issued a desperate plea for the public to come forward with information on the whereabouts of his statement shoes.
He said: “I’m really passionate about my job.
“I have been performing the same as always – but I know something is missing. I designed them myself and they go with my outfit.
“I don’t know why somebody would want to steal clown shoes. I use them as part of my gig and really hope I can get them back.”
After reporting the crime to police on June 8, the circus boss is now offering a £1,000 reward to the person who helps to reunite Walison with his £300 shoes.
Jo McMullan, who works at Planet Circus OMG, said: “The circus boss is offering a £1,000 reward for the return of the stolen clown shoes.

“He’s furious that someone has gone into the back of tent and taken Walison’s shoes and is willing to pay £1,000 to anyone who gives information leading to the shoes being brought back.
"Someone must know something. We saw some youngsters around the back of the tents – it might have been them.
“They probably think it is funny because why else would you steal a clown’s shoes."
Walison has been performing his clown act for eight years after joining a circus aged just 13.
Speaking about his job, he said: “The best part of performing is, well, I don’t think anyone will ever be able to describe this feeling.
“We love making the audience happy and seeing the smile on their faces.
“When I was a kid I always wanted to be a doctor or a soccer player, maybe a singer or a famous actor.
“By that time, I had no idea that I was going be something 1,000 times better, I became a circus performer.”
Jo continued: “It has really upset Walison – they probably don’t realise how serious this is and just think it’s funny.”
