When it comes to picking names for Royal babies, tradition has a huge impact on choices.
Princess Eugenie of York and her husband Jack Brooksbank shared the delightful news that the Queen’s ninth great-grandchild had been born on February 9 at the Portland Hospital in central London.
The Royal baby weighs 8lb 1oz, but the name of the Royal baby has yet to be revealed – in line with tradition.
Royals usually wait several days before sharing the name – but a royal expert has warned Eugenie could cause controversy by picking an unusual name such as “Eustace”.
She wrote in NZ Herald: "In the coming hours and days, it is likely that Buckingham Palace will release some sort of charming official shot of Eugenie, Jack and their baby, along with announcing the little one's name.
"There will be a surfeit of cute and heart emojis galore and not a skerrick of a controversy unless the couple name the tot something like Rocket or Cosmo or Eustace.
"Here is one last, fun, game of pretend to play: The expressions of the official Buckingham Palace gift shop staffers as they try to keep a straight face as they slap 'Onyx' or 'Abner' on some overpriced porcelain baby souvenirs."
Of course, Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice have unique monikers – so it remains to be seen what name is picked.

Carolyn Harris, professor of history at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, said: “The further down the line of succession, the more likely you are to have a more unique or untraditional name.”
Meanwhile, bookies are taking bets on the most likely Royal baby names as we wait for the decision to be shared.
Ladbrokes has listed 37 suggestions for punters to pick on, including Boris, after the Prime Minister, and Piers, after Good Morning Britain host, Piers Morgan, on the list.
But the favourite name for Princess Eugenie’s baby boy is Arthur, with 4/1 odds.
James is next on the list with 6/1 and Frederick, Albert and Edward all tie with punters welcome to place their bets at 8/1.
