Prince Harry's representatives have confirmed he will not be returning to the UK later this month for the Duke of Edinburgh’s thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey.

The news comes following his legal battle against the Home Office over his security arrangements in the UK.

Richard Eden, Daily Mail Diary Editor, slammed Harry for not attending after being spotted in Texas.

He tweeted: "#PrinceHarry can make it to a rodeo in Texas but not to his own grandfather's memorial service. #royal."
