Prince Harry has been spotted driving around his Californian neighbourhood while sporting a much longer haircut tied up into a "ponytail", according to a neighbour.
Hollywood actor Rob Lowe, who lives in Montecito where Meghan Markle and Harry bought their posh new mansion, said the Duke of Sussex is as rare a sight as the "Loch Ness monster" but insisted it was really him.
Speaking on The Late Late Late Show with James Corden, Lowe joked he had a "scoop" and said: "He lives about a mile from me.
"He's been very reclusive. Seeing him in the neighbourhood is like seeing the Loch Ness Monster, and I finally saw him.
"I finally saw him driving his car."
The 56-year-old West Wing star added: "It was very, very quick – don't totally quote me on it – but it looked like he's wearing a ponytail.
"I'm just saying. It looked to me as a casual observer that his hair had grown very long and was pulled back very tightly by what I can only assume was a ponytail."
Meghan Markle and Harry's return 'may pose headache and remind royals of painful Megxit'
Host James Corden, a pal of the royal couple, sounded baffled by the hair-raising claim and joked: "Do you know what I think has happened?
"I think you didn't see Prince Harry."
But the actor doubled-down and replied: "Oh no, it was him.
"I have to say, I followed him to the house to see if the car went in."
The royal couple's new home is allegedly worth $15 million (£11 million) and is located near the coast in Montecito, Santa Barbara County.
It's about a 90-minute drive to Los Angeles and also the home to stars like Meghan's friend Oprah Winfrey.
Meghan and Harry quit social media due to the cruel messages they receive and are now focusing on their brand Archewell and projects with Netflix and Spotify.
They apparently have no plans to return to the UK and Meghan has "quit her plan on becoming a British citizen".
