POLICE are probing the "unexplained" death of a young woman found dead in a churchyard.
Emergency crews were called to St Mary and St Nicholas Church in Spalding, Lincolnshire, at 9pm last night.
They discovered the body of a 26-year-old in a tent in the grounds of the church.
A probe has now been launched with officers treating her death as unexplained.
Lincolnshire Police confirmed no arrests have been made and the woman's family have been informed.
They are appealing for anyone who was in the area between July 12 and July 17 or who knows the woman to get in touch.

A spokesperson said: "We are continuing to appeal for information that will help with our investigation into the death of a 26-year-old woman who was found in a tent on Monday 17 July, in the grounds of St Mary and St Nicholas Church, Spalding.
"We’re not able to share the name of the woman today but we will as soon as we're able as we appreciate this may help with our appeal.
"We were first called to the area around 9 pm on Monday 17 July, as a result of our inquires we are currently treating the death as unexplained, and are appealing for the public's help.
"We are working hard to understand what has happened and the circumstances around this tragic death."
