Monster bull with bulging muscles traps couple in car after escaping field
A frightened couple sat and waited for a farmer to "rescue" them after a massive bull broke out of a field.
The muscular beast was spotted by amateur wildlife snappers Tina O’Neill and her partner Ken Fuller in a field near Castle Eaton, Wiltshire, on Thursday afternoon (July 1).
The couple, from Swindon, only stopped to get a pic of the brutish-looking bull as they passed but the beefy bovine had other ideas.
It smashed its way through a perimeter fence and proceeded to snack on the grass verge of the highway.
Mr Fuller bravely ran to the farmer's house but after finding no one there the couple drove back out on to the road only to be confronted by the macho-looking bull.
Miss O'Neill said: "We were on our way back from Stanton Park getting pictures of dragonflies as we’ve started doing wildlife photography.
"On the way home I saw him (the bull) and said how massive he was, so my partner said: 'Do you want to go get a photo?'
"So we reversed back to the field where he was, but just as I took one photo he then went barging towards the fence.
"We heard the fence break so my partner got out and went up to the farmer’s house to get help, but no one was about. So we drove back onto the road – we were face to face with bully.
"Another driver passed and said he knew the farmer and would go make some calls. So we sat for about 20/30 minutes to wait for the farmer to come rescue us and put him back in the field. Not something we planned on bumping into."
The shaken couple put their pictures of the bodybuilding bull up on Facebook, with the post: "When you get trapped in the car because this beast has escaped from the field."
