Monster anaconda squeezes life out of pig and swallows it whole in horror video
A massive 16-foot anaconda was caught on camera swallowing a wild pig whole in the clear waters of a Brazilian river.
Terrifying footage shows the giant snake wrapped around the helpless hog, slowly squeezing the life out of it. The underwater video, shot by a wildlife enthusiast, shows the snake dragging the pig to the riverbed where it drowned.
As the pig stops moving, the 16-foot snake's coils spin around as its huge jaws open up to begin gulping down the entire pig from the snout down. Tour guide Celio Araujo, 42, shared the footage after capturing the moment on the Sucuri River in Bonito, in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, last week.

Araujo had been leading a tourist group when he noticed a spooked monkey just before stumbling across the snake devouring its prey. The tour guide returned to film this incredible moment after dropping off the tourist group.
Araujo explained: "When I filmed her, she had already strangled the pig, and already killed it. I said: 'I know her' because I always see her there."
He explained that most tourists are scared of anacondas, but he said: "The animal will never attack a person unless the person provokes it."

Experts say that anacondas can stay underwater for up to 10 minutes before needing to take a breath. According to Chimu Adventures, the reptiles mostly hunt prey from within the waters, since anacondas have their eyes and nasal openings on top of their head.
Green anacondas are one of the largest snakes in the world — with females of the species being considerably larger than males. They can reach lengths of 30 feet and can weigh up to 39stone.
