Video footage shows two security guards being targeted by a man and a woman at the music event in Crystal Palace, south London.

The crowd watches on as the woman, dressed in pink, is smacked in the face and thrown to the floor.

The chaos began when the woman shoved one of the stewards who has his arms outstretched towards her in a defensive position.

Meanwhile, another guard can be seen on top of a male reveller who is on the ground. It is unknown why he is being restrained.

The woman in pink then shoves the standing guard again before attempting to wrestle the other guard off the man on the ground.

As the standing guard attempts to get in between her and the men on the ground, she kicks out at him before falling to the ground. A third reveller can be seen in the background charging at the guard on the ground.

Chaos then erupts as other festival goers attempt to intervene and the woman in pink goes back to the security guard to confront him.

It is at this point the security guard slaps the woman in the face knocking her to the floor as the onlookers gasp.

The line-up at the festival in Crystal Palace featured artists including Skepta, Future, Giggs, Megan The Stallion and Meek Mill.

It comes after US rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie missed his performance after he was arrested, allegedly over an incident some two years ago.

The musician, real name Julius Dubose, was due to take to the stage at the star-studded festival on Saturday afternoon.

But following his arrest over the weekend, organisers announced the 25-year-old would not be performing as planned and that the set would be rescheduled.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie then shed light on his absence in an Instagram post, which now no longer appears on his account.

He told fans: ‘Smh sorry to everyone who came out to see me at Wireless, London police locked me up before I went on stage for something I was accused of 2 years ago.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘On Saturday, 11 September, a 25-year-old man was arrested at the Wireless Festival in Crystal Palace Park.

‘The arrest was made by Met Police officers at the request of Greater Manchester Police.

‘The man was released on bail to attend a Greater Manchester police station at a later date.’

The Met and Wireless Festival have been contacted for comment.
