A wild video shows a plane passenger scream at Jet2 flight attendants on a journey from Manchester to Turkey before getting escorted off the plane.

The woman was accused of slapping other passengers on the Monday morning (March 21) flight, Manchester Evening News reports.

In the video, the passenger is standing in the aisle and arguing with one of the flight crew members.

The woman is told to "stand back", to which she replies: "I am back. Sort your head out, you."

In another angry exchange, the disruptive passenger says: "So what have I done? Don't touch me, don't f***ing touch me."

The woman's behaviour resulted in the plane being diverted to Vienna, where she was booted off, causing an hour and 15 minutes delay.

Another video shows armed police officers escort the woman from the plane while other passengers whoop and cheer.

"Wait til you get the bill, love," calls out one passenger.

Someone else shouts "bye-bye" and a man says "good night" as the woman is led away by officers.

A witness described the outbreak of the fight to MEN, saying: "A customer said something and she slapped him in the face.

"Then a man got up to try and calm the situation before taking her to the back of the plane."

"Jet2 staff handled the whole situation very well," the unnamed witness said. "Nobody could help the out-of-control woman once she slapped the passenger."

A text sent by Jet2 to passengers onboard the flight shortly before 12pm said: "Hello, we are sorry that due to the disruptive behaviour of a fellow passenger, your flight has been diverted to Vienna.

"We are working on a situation to get you on your way as soon as possible."

The flight arrived at its original destination, Antalya, just after 3pm which was one hour and 15 minutes later than scheduled.

A spokesperson for Jet2 confirmed that flight LS895 diverted to Vienna "so that a disruptive passenger could be offloaded".

In a statement, they said: "As a family-friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to disruptive behaviour."
