This is the shocking moment a road rage brawl was caught on camera, showing a man chasing a car driver with a large spade and smashing in his back window.

The violent altercation, that is believed to have taken place in Dagenham, east London, this morning, was caught on camera and posted to social media.

A video shows the two men, a van driver and a car driver, exchanging punches as they fight on the roadside with their vehicles parked near a junction – before things take an even more violent turn.

The car driver, dressed in a navy tracksuit, lifts the other man up and body-slams him to the ground and then continues to lay on punches into his head and torso.

The pair separate and square up to each other, exchanging inaudible words with the car driver eventually returning to his car. 

However, just as it looks as though the brawl is over, the bodyslam victim opens his van, grabs a spade, and chases the other man’s car as he drives off.

The van driver then smashes his opponent’s back window with the spade, sending glass flying across the road

The furious driver of the car then reverses back towards the spade-carrying man who leaps into his var to get away.

The car driver reaches into his door and throws an object, that appears to be a screwdriver, at the van before the clip cuts out. 

It is not yet known what sparked the road rage incident, but it is understood to have taken place this morning.
