Meghan Markle will give birth to a baby girl "any day now", royal experts have said.
The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry said their daughter would be arriving "this summer" during their Oprah interview.
But the Daily Beast's Royalist newsletter is now claiming she will give birth before the end of the month.
"The Royalist was always taught summer started in June, but there have also been rumours the baby was due sooner than that, so we think the answer is 'any day now'," the newsletter said.
After stepping down as senior royals last March, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex now live in a £11million mansion in Santa Barbara, California.
Heavily pregnant Meghan has kept her daughter's due date a secret.
Her daughter will be granted American citizenship if she is born on American soil, and will also become eighth in line to the throne.
She will come after Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Prince Harry and her older brother Archie.
Royal commentator Victoria Murphy told the Sun: “There’s no chance that this baby will ever be King or Queen, this baby has so much more freedom than William and Kate’s children do.”
Meghan Markle's bendy thumbs could mean she has 'quick and early labour', experts say
She said the baby “will not be expected when they get older to carry out full-time royal duties” and this will give her the chance to “carve their own path”.
Prince William and Kate Middleton's three children will be expected to carry out royal duties.
Meghan previously gave birth to Archie at London's Portland Hospital in 2019.
Queen 'sad' that she may never meet Meghan and Harry's new baby daughter
Despite being born in the UK, Archie is likely to be eligible for dual nationality, although the family’s immigration status has not been made public.
The Queen won't meet her new great-granddaughter unless Meghan and Harry come to the UK, a royal expert said.
"The Sussexes, who have barely set foot in the UK since relocating to the US and are unlikely to return any time soon after their Oprah interview sent shockwaves through the Royal Family," Ingrid Seward said.

"Meghan is due to give birth to their daughter – the Queen’s 11th great-grandchild – imminently, but unless Meghan and Harry bring the baby to Britain, the Queen won’t get to meet her.
“She has barely seen Archie since he was born, a source of sadness for her – though she is said to have wished him happy birthday via Zoom when he turned two this month," she continued.
