Man who told people to buy 71p of Bitcoin eight years ago now living luxury life
A digital currency investor has left followers seething with jealousy after buying Bitcoin almost 10 years ago – and raking in a fortune ever since.
Chilean national Davinci Jeremie advised followers back in 2013 to invest just $1(£0.71) in Bitcoin in order to enjoy a profitable future.
Since 2013, the cryptocurrency has seen an increase in value by over 59,000 percent – which would mean those making even a modest investment eight years ago would have enjoyed a late profit.
Davinci said he expects fans to be telling him they wished they had listened to his advice all those years ago after the crypto market enjoyed a bumper year.
His own Instagram account shows self-styled Crypto expert enjoying the high life with trips to Monte Carlos via private jet and sailing trips on luxury yachts.
Back in 2013, Davinci posted a video on his YouTube channel titled: “Just buy $1 worth of Bitcoin please!”
He suggested gambling on cryptocurrencies would be more successful than gambling on the lottery.

He said: "Look, for the price of (a) lotto ticket you can hold Bitcoin (BTC) for 10 years and become a millionaire.
“It's time you stop living in fear. If it goes to zero you lose $1, who cares!
"But if I'm right I want all of you to thank me, it will not make me happy if you come back to me in 10 years saying 'dude, I wish I listened to you back 2011 or 2013'."
First man to use Bitcoin could now be worth £306m – but instead spent it on 2 pizzas
Cryptocurrency fans who have invested in Bitcoin, Ethereum and the like have endured a turbulent week which has seen the value of various crypto-coins cut in half – or worse.
But Davinci tells fans to stand firm and trust the notoriously volatile market will pick up again soon.
LadBible quote the crypto expert advising: “Do the impossible buy and hold Bitcoin for long term like retirement your risk is the same as an asteroid hitting the planet, thus it’s a good bet.”
