Man and woman found dead as tattoo parlour sealed off amid reports of ‘stabbing’

A man and a woman have been found dead and a tattoo parlour closed off by police as they investigate.
The tragic pair were pronounced dead at the scene in Lower Bridge Street in Canterbury, Kent after an unconfirmed but suspected 'stabbing'.
Goth Ink has been cordoned off and covered up by officers with screens so passers-by cannot look into the tattoo shop which provides customers with piercings as well as tattoos.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating the deaths of two people in Canterbury.
"At 5.19pm on Monday, officers attended an address in Lower Bridge Street, where a 54-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, who were known to each other, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
"Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing."
Officers are not currently looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.
Eyewitnesses in the area reported seeing at least eight police vehicles and four ambulances in the area. Pictures from the scene also showed forensic investigators in white uniforms with equipment, gathering evidence.
According to Goth Ink's Facebook page, it offers customers over 30 years of experience with "portraits, cover ups, Japanese, minimalist and everything in between".
