The identity of the victim and the whereabouts of the suspect have not been confirmed.
A suspect was taken into custody Monday morning in connection with a shooting at a United States Citizenship and Immigration Services office, the Orlando Police Department said.
The shooting was reported at around 10.15am EST, leading to a heavy police presence outside of the building.
Officers have not yet revealed who is responsible for the shootout, but have confirmed there is a homicide investigation.
It is unclear whether or not the shooting was in relation to the immigration services building.
A photograph from the scene showed a barrier surrounding what is reportedly a body.
