According to WVTM13 Tornado Watch remains in effect for the following Alabama counties: Blount, Cherokee, Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Etowah, Fayette, Franklin, Jackson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, Walker, and Winston.
Was anyone injured after the Winfield tornado?
The Winfield Fire Department is reporting no injuries at this time.
Eight people were briefly trapped inside Winfield’s Pizza Bar after the roof collapsed. They weren’t hurt, however.
